Medicare Supplement (Medigap) insurance is sold by private insurance companies to fill the gaps in the original Medicare plan coverage. There are ten standardized plans, from A through J. Each plan has a different set of benefits.
Within each type of plan (A - J) the benefits are the same with every company. The premiums are different and are determined by each company. The policies are guaranteed to be renewable as long as you pay the premiums.
